Dasboard 2.0 No Reponse

Hello
I finally gave up on dashboard 2.0. It becomes unresponsive after a few hours.
It appears it’s due to an issue with the chart node. Works fine without it.
Anyone experiencing this?

Reverting back to Dashboard.

Joe

I haven’t seen this, but I’m not using that chart. What Venus OS version?

I use normal line charts and gauges, no issues.

Venus OS version is 3.60

Is the dash node fully up to date? It’s not saying there is an update in manage palette?

This is a bar chart with seven tank sensor input.
Copied the same flow and just changed from Dashboard 2.0 nodes to the earlier version.
No issues now so, something not quite right with DB2/Venus OS.

It also hangs nodered editor, not just the ui.

Hi, yes i experienced the same on some sites with DB2, i even enabled the RTT in advanced graphs to try and make sure the flow is not overloading the GX. On some it goes to 400ms on startup after that it is 4-20ms, so it is not that either.
Had it today where mqtt in still worked, but mqtt out did not, no access to NR, no access to DB2, had to restart the GX in order to get access and heat the geysers.
Spend yesterday upgrading the Wifi, to make sure it is not network either. Network is smooth as silk, all devices on latest FW.
I want to blame the ESP Geyser products, but since mqtt in worked (geyser temps), it must have been somewhere else. What was strange is i used the virtual node to push the geyser temp to VRM, and that also worked, so ND did not ‘hang’ either.
Still troubleshooting.

pls test on 3.62 and let me know if it is better.

Are you using any chart elements? I tested one of my sites and when the chart element was disabled, it seems to stop ‘hanging’ the nodeRED. Pls let me know.
PS. in my case, amongst other things, it is a temp value i get via MQTT. I also pass this value on to VRM via virtual node, so i can see my geyser temp on VRM. Once it is passed to VRM, you can create a widget in advanced to display the history. Hope this helps for you also.

Disabling the chart node defeats the purpose. Went back to the earlier dashboard and things have been very stable since. I also use MQTT to publish data from custom boards with associated sensors. I’ll wait until I hear reports that DB2 issues have been addressed before spending more time on it.
