I wou;d like to connect 2 SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controllers to my Cerbo GX. I am using USB cables and VE direct to USB adapters, but I need to routh these round the back of by boat which is quite a few metres, perhaps 10. It works directly with about 4 metres of cable but the cable is in the way. Is there a way to make the connections wither on blestooth using an adapter perhaps TP link 400, or usinh a long USB cable?
I use a 4-1 USB splitter cable to a single 5 meter USB extension cable from the back of my RV to my Cerbo.
You can use a powered USB Hub that will be able to reach 10m, if the Smartsolar haves Ve Can, you can reach a lot meters on a RJ45 cable and daisy chain them
I can see that using a MPPT with VE CAN is an elegant solution but expensive since I already have 2 Smartsolar MPPTs. Presumably the powered USB hub will be at the end of the VE direct to USB cable/adapter?
