Confirming steps when adding more capacity to battery system

I just want to confirm my steps here for adding a second 24v200Ah Lithium Battery Smart to my system, seems to be working fine, but I want double check. :wink:

  1. Wired new battery to Lynx Distributor with 300A Victron Mega Fuse.
  2. Connected the batteries BMS cables together and to the Lynx BMS.
  3. In Victron Connect: Reset the Pin to 00000 with the PUK code (probably not necessary, but it prompted me to do it so I did.)
  4. In Victron Connect: I went into the Lynx BMS settings, added my 2nd battery and increased my system capacity to 400Ah.
  5. In Victron Connect: Set the battery pin code to my secret pin of my choosing (no longer 000000)
  6. Plug it into shore power and let the Multiplus-ii charge up everything to 100% and balance.

Anything else?
For example, should I clear history in my Cerbo GX?

Looks ok, better should be to charge batteries to 100% independent, before connecting but if they are close enough system will balance over a few days

You dont have to erase history, it will just store the new value’s, but you can if you would like a fresh start
