Hello because I don’t have the same battery set, I have to make another, separate system in my place. Everything connected to the same 1-phase line. I try to explain, the system set no. 1 Multiplus 48/5000/70 x2 plus mppt charger 250/100 was made in 2023, everything worked great. Until I needed a bigger energy storage, I bought another battery, but with my bad luck in the battery it turned out that I have a different bms than the battery from set no. 1, with which I could not connect it to my previous system.
Without thinking much I bought another multiplus 2 48/5000/70, I connect everything together (SET NO. 2) as in the picture and now I don’t know how to configure the system to send this power to my system through the AC-In input. I know it is possible, but I have already spent too much time and I am close to giving up.
Question no.:
1- I’m still waiting for the meter on the input from the 3p75c grid to arrive, and I don’t know yet whether it has to be connected to the cerbo from set no. 1 or the cerbo from set no. 2.
2- I want to charge the battery in set no. 2 from solar panels. Should I install another meter before the Solar Edge? Both cerbos see the inverter.
3- With assistant have to be installed and what do I have to configure on the settings for it to work?
If same Multiplus is used those could be configured as paralell with old multis, But that not resolve BMS issue.
its it same type of batteries but differend firmware it often can be flashed.
If voltages is same on batteries the SmartShunt can be used instead of connect the Batteries internal BMS to Cerbo GX. And connect all batteries in a big pile paralell.
Think dual Cerbo in same house seams to be dificult to make work in sync but i can be wrong.
That cells inside different voltage na way to make this work on similar bms. And i dont want to sync 2 cerbo. My issue it’s how to program make set nr2 to send power back to grid installation by ac in.
Hi et112 ready there. I choice meter to AC load then multiplus don’t do nothing I mean all the time show Passtru. But when I set to Grid meter then show me something not right but I see start charge battery.
It seems like you might be asking if the meter in Set 1 should be read in Set 2 as the grid, and the ET112 meter in Set 2 should be set as the load on AC1. Here’s how I understand it:
You’re considering using the meter from Set 1 as the grid in Set 2, and setting the ET112 meter in Set 2 as the load for AC1.
Is that correct? Let me know if I misunderstood, or if you’d like further clarification!
For others who might have a similar issue: In my case, the ET112 meter needs to be installed downstream of the load, looking from the MultiPlus. Maybe this is mentioned somewhere in the manual, but I didn’t catch it. Now, looking at this first diagram, my previous wiring didn’t make logical sense. I am now relocating the meter according to this new diagram.
