Charger MPPT 100/50 issue with equalization voltage

Hi Community,
I am using a Victron SmartSolar Charger MPPT 100/50 with a 260Ah Flooded lead-acid battery.
My configuration looks like

If I start manually the equalization the voltage never goes above absorption voltage.
If I increase absorption voltage, voltage of equalization increases again to the threshold of absorption.

For me this makes no sense and looks like a bug?
Thanks for any support!

If you turn on Expert Mode an additional parameter will appear called “Equalization current percentage”. You need to increase that value, which allow the MPPT to send through enough current to increase the voltage. The default setting is 10% I believe, which is 10% of the maximum charge current that you have specified for your battery, in your case 20A *10% = 2A.

The problem is that I am not sure what a safe value is for the Equalization current percentage. The way I understand the equalization charge cycle is that the charger create a higher than normal voltage, to allow the “bad” / “slow” cells to pick up more charge, but to protect the the battery this needs to happen at the lowest possible current, therefore the additional parameter.

Thanks! I will try a bit if a view more percentage helps
