Hi,
We have recently experienced all our Cerbos that are on Inmarsat BGAN satellite connections (Using Hughes 9502 modems) stop reporting to VRM. 41 systems affected. 4G based comms systems unaffected.
They all initially stopped approx 13/5/2026 10:00 UTC, returned online for around 2hrs 19/5/2026 15:00 UTC then offline again until present.
The Hughes modems are online, other devices connected to them are reporting fine, only the Cerbos reporting to VRM are affected. Remote console on VRM no longer works.
We can connect to the Cerbos locally (setting up port forwards through the satellite modems) and see the attached on the VRM online portal page.
These systems have worked reliably on VRM for years until now. No firmware updates or changes of any sorts on our side. Satellite provider advises no firewall changes.
Could there have been changes to how VRM receives high latency or fragmented packets?
Any help appreciated! Thanks
