Hi everyone, I’m looking into monitoring the level of propane and fuel tanks. Except those tanks are at a descent distance from where my Cerbo is located. Ideally I’d like to not have to run wires and have it done remotely. As anyone had any luck using wifi, bluetooth or radio operated level sensors for these applications ? I found the Mopeka sensor which seems to be mostly for water ? I’ve ordered one and will test once it arrives, but looking for other options ! Thanks.
@Bobby.p Victron supports the Mopeka sensor as of Feb 2024 and there are some good resources , including videos of installation, if you do a quick web search. Not sure about the distances you are taliking about, but fingers crossed it is within reach.
Mopeka will do any fluid, I am using them on LPG for many years. You can always add a USB Bluetooth dongle such as the TP Link UB500 closer to the tanks to improve range.
