I know this has been covered many times previously; however I have a situation that does not fit the current posts and responses.
On my Cerbo GX Mark 1 model (up to serial #: HQ2207), Bluetooth connectivity for Ruuvi sensors. I’ve had it connected previously, and it worked fine. However, as noted by many users on the forums, and Victron websites…successive firmware updates have eliminated the Bluetooth function to prevent heat buildup in the processor. The accepted alternative method to retain this function is to connect a Bluetooth dongle to one of the USB ports. I’ve been on the Victron website and have purchased two different dongles…Asus UB400 & UB500+. I have connected them directly to the Cerbo, and with a short USB extension lead. However, none of these work to restore the Bluetooth connectivity.
Does anyone have a MK1 Cerbo and Ruuvi sensors working with the latest firmware? Any ideas on how to, or what to do to solve my issue?
