I have some questions. I am new to cerbo world. But, I have my Cerbo hooked up and can manually start and stop the generator. But, the auto start is not working. I have the autostart functionality enabled. The VRM dashboard allows me to see that the generator is running but it does not display any value for battery voltage or current. My assumption is that the cerbo isn’t picking up the voltage and therefore unable to auto start and stop the generator. But, the generator is correctly hooked up to relay 1 and enabled through the portal or I would not have been able to manually start the generator. This is a stand alone unit as my magnum AGS went bad and magnum is out of business.
What am I missing?
The relay on the gx is just either open or closed based on programmed conditions. You have tested and seen that is works.
What conditions do you have set for auto start on the GX?
I have it set to read voltage. It’s supposed to turn on the generator below 22.8 volts for 90 seconds and stop at 28.5 volts. But I can’t see anywhere where the GX is actually reading voltage.
@cabinlife you could read the battery parameters from a Victron shunt. The shunt could provide the State of Charge and that may be a good trigger for auto gen start and stop.
