How in the world is anyone supposed to get past that stupid captcha picture puzzle? I must have tried it a dozen or so times and now it won’t let me do it again until I wait but it doesn’t say how long to wait. Useless programming.
Captcha is a universally used system, Victron have no control over it. It can be a challenge especially if eyesight isn’t what it use to be.
There is often an audio button as an option or a link for an alternative form of check to aid accessibility.
I’ve never had trouble on any other site. Victron site is the only one that I can’t get through and it doesn’t make sense so there’s more going on than we think and it’s not just Google. There may be a programmable adjustment that the website programmer uses and also which Captch to use.
I tried to reproduce by creating an account but I was not prompted to complete a captcha test.
I will see if someone can check.
I have confirmed that it is a stock, standard captcha image test.
Some can be a bit tricky, been through that myself, but there is literally nothing Victron has changed vs any other similar test on other sites.
As an aside, if you’re using a VPN or private/incognito browsing, that can, I’m told, make captcha more determined to test you. So consider disabling it while authenticating.

I found the problem. “ABP for Samsung Internet” was on and prevented the Captcha from working. Its a basic ad blocker. I’ve had that on for a few years and this is the only site that ever gave me problems.
