Blue Solar Charger 150/35.
How tolerant are those devices to overvoltage?
What if a string hits 160V on rare occasions?
My panels have shortcurcuit voltage of 38.88V
I add 10% (-0.25%/C°) for temp compensation.
At the moment I have a string with 3 such Panels.
I wonder if the charger could handle a fourth also… if there is tolerances..
Anyone got any experience with this?

No experience but in the old forum, @guystewart indicated that voltage is a hard limit, unlike current which you can overshoot a little. He didn’t say what that does to your warranty.

That’s definitely a hard no - voltage limit is not to be exceeded under any circumstances.
