Cable lug trouble - 38mm2 cable

For an off-grid setup in a garden house I am installing a Victron Energy EasyPlus 1600 VA. Which comes with preattached cables with 38mm2 cable lugs. I want to make my cable runs as short as possible so now I want to cut the preattached cable and add my own cable lugs to it.
The problem is that a 38mm2 cable lug is very rare. I cant seem to buy it anywhere. I do find 35mm2 and 50mm2 cable lugs. I tried to put on 35mm2 cable lugs and they dont fit well. What do you guys recommend? Just use a 50mm2 cable lug and an extra spacer to fill up the gaps?

Welcome.
Pretty sure they come with 35mm cables.
Grab a small cable tie and tighten it around the copper strands.
Slide lug on, snip tie off.

you need to use a standard size and ensure the cable is actually that size as it is very unlikley

That is a simple but great idea. Thank you so much. Definately going to try that.
