Hi @mpvader - Sorry to bother (loved the 50 year video btw). I just wanted to follow up on your note earlier. Would it be possible to add an option to disable Peak Shaving permanently in v3.70?
Now in Autumn during days with no trading possibilities and almost no sun, the battery drains throughout the day. Only when minium soc has reached the draining (and peak shaving) stops.
In the screenshot below you see during the night there is no battery draining during minimum soc, DESS charged a bit in the morning but almost all the energy is gone at the end of the day, so the charging didn’t serve any purpose.
Well actually, I found out that the draining is a measuring issue with jkbms when peak shaving is active.
I think peak shaving creates a ripple on the dc line causing the jkbms to think a current is flowing. I now use the internal measurement of the Victron and that soc doesn’t get lower. Only downside is that the jkbms says 1% soc left but I ignore that as the cell voltage is 3.26v according to 50% soc.
A disable peak shaving option would still solve this issue with jkbms.
