BMV-712 Smart shunt temperature and voltage connections

I’m doing a new install on my van conversion and have a question.

I understand that battery temperature monitor (ASS000100000) also monitors the voltage of the connected battery through the B1 connection on the shunt. I would also like to monitor the second battery in the bank. Is that possible with the temperature monitor connected? If so, do I splice the fused wire from the second battery to the black wire from the temperature monitor that connects to B2 on the shunt? The B2 terminal isn’t large enough to accommodate both wires.

This is my first install so I want to do it correctly (and hopefully only once….)

Not possible, the auxilary input can be used to measure temperature OR measure voltage off a second battery.
