BMV 712 low voltage reading

My BMV 712 was working fine, now it shows 0.03v. It still monitors amperage accurately, but shows 0.03v. Is the unit defective?

1200w Solar with 3 panels feeding 3 Victron 100/30 MPPTs. It’s been this away for 6 months and I only have solar power, no generator , no shore.

The fact that it is working means that it is receiving more than 0.03V from the 12V positive wire which tends to rules out a problem on this wire. I suggest that you check it anyway as well as the fuse. The other thing to check for cleanliness and good contact is the RJ45 lead between the shunt and the monitor. If these leads are OK then the pcb on the shunt is likely faulty.

Is the shunt warranted? This is not an old BMV.

Victron components have a good warranty, think it is 5 years. Speak to your supplier / dealer for support.
