It won’t do that (send information to the vrm) through the ve bluetooth network. They only share information over bluetooth with other Bluetooth devices in the network. A GX cannot be added to the network as it is designed to work without a gx.
It needs a direct connection to the GX Device to be displayed by the gx and vrm.

So a workaround could be adding a smart shunt, configured as a DC-meter to the chargers negative output to have at least some reading on the VRM portal ?
