Blue Smart IP22 Charger for Lithium battery but dosnt have a Lifepro4 setting

I have just swapped my Lead acid for a LifePro4 battery But my Blue Smart IP22 Charger only has a setting for li-ion battery.

Question: is that ok for LifPro4 if not what one of the Victron range is ?

Will it damage the battery ?

Thanks

Neil

As a basis it’s fine.

Strangely lots of people refer to LifePo4 as Li-ion

You can find tune the settings in expert mode.

Hi Julian thanks for the reply, problem is i dont know what the Charging voltage, absorption voltage or Float should be. at the moment absorption is 14.2 float is disabled and storage that it keeps going to even though its only half charged is 13.50 they are the standard settings for Li-ion on the charger

I can’t access my IP22 as the power is off at the site however below are my MPPT settings which as far as I remember are the same and should give you a basis to work from.

Battery is 105Ah Fogstar your battery manufacturer should be able to tell you the voltages.

30min equalisation is recommended by Fogstar for every 100Ah of battery capacity.

One other thing is to turn off adaptive charging and switch to fixed :scream:
