Charging LifePO4 with Blue Smart IP22 12v/15a Charger

Hi

I have a 100amp and a 40amp LifePO4 battery that I would like to charge (one at a time) with my Blue Smart IP22 12v/15a Charger:

ECO-WORTHY 100Ah 12.8v LiFePO4 lithium battery

Ultramax 40Ah12.8v LiFePO4 lithium battery

The 40amp battery is used to run my boats chart plotter, the 100amp is for a small trolling motor, I bring the batteries in to the house and intend to charge them using the Blue Smart IP22 12v/15a

I have no problem charging my boats lead acid battery (for the outboard and other electrics) with the default settings but unsure what settings to use for the LifePO4 batteries as I understand they are a different type of battery to LI-ION which is one of the 4 modes available

I have searched online and within the forums but finding conflicting info

Any help would be appreciated

Li-ion is a technology just like lead acid is a technology as well. both technologies have all sorts of “tastes”. in this case we are talking about the LiFePo4 “taste”.

If the batteries have a BMS included in the box you can charge them safely with the charge preset setting set to Li-ion
