Having an issue with our 12/25 blue smart charger. The orange light is flashing like it is in absorption mode, and the app says the same but I’m not getting any current showing in the app. Charge in the battery is only dropping.
I’ve tried normal and fast charge settings but nothing has made a difference. Charger is connected direct to the battery with nothing in between.
@OldManJudd Have you checked the fuse?
No fuse in the system apart from the internal one which you can’t replace from what I’ve read?
Is this a new install and what battery chemistry? Have a look at this too. 5. Pre-RMA test form - Smart charger
No sorry should have said. Unit has been installed and working for over 3 years now. Nothing had changed or moved with the system.
Have now pulled it out of the camper and have it attempting to charge an AGM battery that i know is working and is down on charge but still the same result.
Unit was originally installed with AGM battery, but have tried with lithium as well (adjusting settings accordingly of course)
Worth doing the pre-rma then get it touch with the seller / dealer.
