Betavrm new menu - remote console missing: bug or feature?

Recently (today) the layout of the menu on the left changed on betavrm.victronenergy.com. But no: there is no longer a remote console proxy.

Thats bad, as it requires a VPN and another tab just to connect to the console. (I still hope this will show up in a few hours or days..)

Nevertheless: great work, vrm is a very useful tool.

Update, and to be clear: the remote console menu point is still alive when using vrm.victronenergy.com instead of betavrm. (!)

No, the remote console is there.

Tank you Mike,

so lets get more specific: I am driving a 3.41 VenusOS on a Raspi. (I am not going to reboot for this)

“Write” / remote console acces from VRM is allowed.

Logging out an in again on VRM does not resolve the issue: Remote Console remains missing for me.

Try upgrading to 3.60…

VRM portal setting should be Full.

sorry, upgrading is currently no option.

And: betavrm should offer the remote console the same way as vrm does, independently from connected GX version. (am I wrong? - please argue..)

As far as I can see, Venus does offer the remote console, and this is visible on my Beta channel VRM.

If you are not seeing this, then there may be a bug with your version of Venus OS, hence the argument for an upgrade. This does not look like a bug with VRM.

I’m assuming that you are an admin of this site? This option is not visible in Beta if you are not allowed (insufficient privilege)to access this.

Ok - in the meantime it appeared here, too. Sorry for the false alarm, the original question is answered: it was a bug..

Thanks to all!
