BETA VRM Update: Enhanced Dynamic ESS Chart Now Shows Detailed Energy Data

The updated ‘Energy’ graph for Dynamic ESS offers a clearer and more precise view of your system’s activity, both past and future. Previously, the graph included some simplifications to provide quick insights into Dynamic ESS operations. However, many users requested a more detailed breakdown of energy flows.

In the previous version, solar consumption was represented as a blank space in the graph. Now, the graph explicitly shows how much solar energy was consumed, giving you a complete picture. Additionally, smaller energy flows that were previously omitted are now included. For example, in the screenshot below, you’ll see a 0.18 kWh flow from solar to the grid.

This enhanced accuracy in depicting energy flows during Dynamic ESS mode will help you better understand what your system has done and what it will do. If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out!

This is nice. :+1: Just this morning, we have been discussing over here:

And yeah, looking at the difference between producion / beta vrm just exactly outlines that clearly now:

I think the new energy graph is a really good idea and will put an end to many discussions and disagreements right from the start. Personally, I find the bright green looks a little strange, but that’s the least of it. Perhaps a clearer distinction between consumption and production would be useful.
