Loaded the new 3.50 GUI-v2 release and spotted the Battery Temp shown in the Battery tile. Just like in VRM Dashboard for a long time. All good, I like it.
Trouble is, in both cases it’s not the Temp from the managed batteries, it’s coming from a Multiplus sensor that’s been repurposed. And it makes no difference if the Multi is deselected as one of the battery monitors. So I now have a false Temp reading for my batteries on both reporting platforms.
Why isn’t the actual BMS sourced Temp being used, it’s available elsewhere? Is there a way to correct this?
Have a check of your STS settings in DVCC if that is applicable to your case. When I went through all my settings after loading the official release I found my STS setting had got lost. I am on AGM not managed batteries so it may not apply to you, just worth mentioning though.
Yeh Pylontechs, and STS is ‘Forced Off’. I guess the batts don’t want to work off something else. Nor do I, the batts use their own T to decide on things like CCL, and this is important to know on those winter days when you need to run a genset and get the most from it. No good when CCL is limited due to low T, I wait until they warm a little.
