Battery setting in Victron smart charge controller 150/35

I have two Mastervolt AGM SL (slim line) 150ah batteries on my boat. The (newly installed) Victron 150/35 is set for “AGM Spiral.” Is that the best setting?

Hi Glen.
Spiral AGMs have special needs. Absorb V is way too high for my liking with standard AGMs.
Try the Gel(1) setting. Gel(2) is a little more aggressive, but I wouldn’t go there unless you have a Temp sensor to give you realtime Temp Compensation.
