Can the BMS control the inverter/charger? Probably not. In that case, as described above, you’ll have to balance the batteries manually.
However, it needs to be able to do this for proper operation, because Victron handles the OVP and UVP functions externally! This means that important circuits retain their functionality, as they are connected directly to the batteries, while the normal circuits and charging can be switched off.
Installing a MultiPlus would be the other straightforward solution, as it is controlled by the system. The cost is relative if you sell the Aims and swap it for a MultiPlus. Batteries destroyed by incorrect charging will end up costing more.
