Batteries not charging

Hi,

I have an Independent system with a Multi RS Solar one Pylontech US5000 and two strings PV. it is a isolated site with very unstable grid.
Everything was working fine until bateries were completely depleted (3%).
I then had to change the battery with a new one. and now the system does work BUT it does not charge or discharge the battery. it is only on grid or when grid out on solar (during the day).
The system apparently sees the pylontech but after a few minutes the pylontech closes and the SOC leds are of and only the run led still blinking. The inverter says battery is idle.
Does anyone has a troubleshoot list ?
Any ideea why this does not work ?

Many observations. Your battery bank is undersized for the size of system. Running it down to 3% when the specification is 95% DOD will definitely see you experiencing problems especially when under load. That aside, are you running an ESS, what system components do you have and how is the battery connected to the system? Via the Cerbo or similar? My first suspicion is it shuts off as there is no keep alive signal from the system. Also, when a “smart” battery discharges to deeply, it often goes into a protection mode which requires special recovery steps.
