Aux Fuse to BMV 712 blows

Hi,
Since I’ve installed my new Orion XS, the Aux Fuse of the BMV shunt blows.

Orion XS has been serialy integrated on my System. Car battery to Orion Input and input of Smart shunt. Output to CBE DS300LS.
Since it only messures Voltage, I do not understand why the fuse of Smart shunt Aux input blows.

Any help appreciated.

And you are dead certain there is no short in the cable anywhere (pinch point or small cut)

double check - no short !

Not solved yet. Maybe a Victron Specialist could have a look on my Problem.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I still haven’t been able to solve the problem. It seems to me that the shunt electronics at the B2 connection have failed and are defective.

As a test, I connected the B2 terminal to the leisure battery as well. Under these conditions, the BMV-712 should have displayed the same voltage for both, AUX and the leisure battery. However, the fuse for B2 blew immediately once again.

Is there a way to test the shunt to confirm whether the electronics are defective?
