Hey guys
I have a simple flow that I use to maintain batteries between 50 and 60% when in storage.
At the moment, I have to go into Node Red and enable or disable the flow.
I know I can use the likes of the inverter charger switch position to automate.
Is there a way I can create switch in the cerbo display or the VRM for an end user to turn off or on manually.
TIA
Yes, you can link it to one of the relays in nodered, toggle the flow based on relay state, the relays appear in VRM for remote operation.
(and no, you can’t rename them).
The upcoming V3.70 firmware is expected to have a virtual switch node that creates a switch pane in Venus OS to directly activate the virtual switch node. Some testing has been done previously and I am waiting for them to be debugged.
Indeed, but I don’t recall it being accessible on VRM (yet). It was GUI V2 console only iirc (though that can be opened remotely as well).
@WayneHunt Nick is correct, I missed the VRM bit, the virtual switches only appeared in remote console on VRM, not the VRM dashboard. Must read more closely.
Thanks both for your responses, appreciated!
