I was the engineer in charge of installing and configuring this system in Yemen so I would like to share my experience. The old solar system was upgraded by
adding a Fernius Eco inverter in the output of victron inverters/chargers.

Summary of Update and Configuration Procedures.
Devices to be updated and configured:
- Victron Inverters (3 Quattro 10KVA, 48V, 240V).
- Fronius Inverter & Datamanager (Eco 27KVA).
- Victron Controller (Cerbo with Ext GX display).
I will now start explaining the steps to update and configure the first device
1st Device
Victron Inverters (3 Quattro 10KVA, 48V, 240V)
- Hardware and software Tools
- USB-MK3, Laptop, Internet Network & RJ45 CAT5 cable.
- Install latest versions of VictronConnect and VEConfigure tools on laptop, you can find it on this url:
Software - Victron Energy
- Update the Firmware of each inverter to latest version and conduct 3phase configuration.
2.1 Access Method:
o Connect your laptop to internet (LAN or WiFi).
o Connects all units of inverters via a USB-MK3 in daisy chain to laptop using RJ45 CAT5 cable and open “VictronConnect”.
2.2 Update Firmware
3. Configuration the inverters.
3.1 Access Method:
- Use the same connection as above in the update paragraph, just turn off the “VictronConnect” and turn on “VEConfigure”.

2nd Dievice
Fronius Inverter & Datamanager (Eco 27KVA).
By connecting a Fronius PV Inverter and GX device (eg Cerbo GX) together you will be able to:
• See Fronius information on the GX Device.
• Monitor the Fronius on the VRM Portal.
• Allow the Victron system to control the Fronius output power, Zero feed-in. See the ESS manual.

- Website Brower & Solar.web.
- Update the software of Fronius Inverter/Datamanager to latest version.
Note: The update will be remotely via Solar.web website.
2.1 Access Method:
After Connected to Laptop via internet Network (LAN or WiFi) and open Solar.web website, follow: - Create an account on the Solar.web website.
- Add a solar energy system to the Solar.web website.

2.2 Update Fronius inverter & Datamanager remotely via Solar.web:

- 3. Configuration the Fronius Datamanager.
- 3.1 Access Method
Access the web page and settings menu of Fronius Datamanager2 via laptop.
1- Turn on the inverter.
2- Convert the inverter to the service mode to access the inverter settings page by converting the small IP Switch to the A position.
3- Access the Fronius Datamanager2 settings page, either via an Ethernet cable or a wireless access point network as follows:
- Ethernet LAN cable: After connecting the cable between the computer and the inverter:
- Open an Internet browser.
- Enter the following address 169.254.0.180 and the Settings Wizard page will appear.
- Wireless access point network: Activate Access Point via the inverter screen in the following sequence:
- Enter the SETUP menu and then choose SetupĂ WiFi Access Point.
- A question will appear on the screen to confirm the activation of Access Point, press Enter and you will see the network name and password.
- Network name: FRONIUS_240.XXXXXX.
- Key: 12345678
- Search your computer for the name of this network and connect to it.
- Open an Internet browser.
- Enter the following address 192.168.250.181 and the Settings Wizard page will appear
- Enter the SETUP menu and then choose SetupĂ WiFi Access Point.
4- Press SOLAR. WEB WIZARD will ask you to set up a new password for the admin account, enter it, then enter the inverter data such as the capacity of the panels connected to it and others until you reach the following Fronius Datamanager2 homepage:
5- Click on Setting and the following Fronius Datamanager2 settings page will appear:
3.2 Configuration Steps
1) Change PASSWORDS
There are two important accounts that need passwords in Fronius Datamanager2 :

Admin account: You must put a password for this account to enter the Settings menu and be allowed to read or modify any settings except METER and DNO EDITOR.

Service account : You must set a password for this account in order to be able to access the METER and DNO EDITOR settings.
2) Click on MODBUS and the following interface will appear:
Put the settings as shown in the picture and then save the changes by clicking on the : 
3) Press DNO EDITOR
Click on DNO EDITOR and you will be asked to enter the Service password after entering it you will see an interface, go down and change the order of the control priority, and make Controlling via Modbus the priority as in the image below.
4) Click On NETWORKS to configure the Internet Settings
Click on the NETWORK icon and you will find 3 options.
• Notes before you begin:
- The goal of this setup is to connect both Fronius Datamanager2 and Victron Cerbo to the same local internet network.
- The Victron Cerbo controller must have been connected to this network.
- We must differentiate between this setting and the previous settings that we made previously in the access method to access the Fronius Datamanager2 settings page (Wireless access point network).
- After completing this setup, the IP Switch must be switched to mode B.
- Do not connect the Ethernet cable directly between Fronius Datamanager2 and Victron Cerbo as this will not work.
- Do not connect Fronius Datamanager2 to the Victron Cerbo access point network.
• Configuration Mechanism of Internet Network:
There are two options for connecting Fronius Datamanager2 to the Internet:
1- Internet via Ethernet LAN:
- The power room must have Ethernet points, then connect the Ethernet cable between the inverter and any Ethernet point.
- There are two options for obtaining an IP Internet address, which are static IP address and dynamic IP address:
Obtain address – statically or Obtain address -dynamically. - When choosing a static IP address: the user enters a static IP address (it must be the same address as the Ethernet point to which it was connected) and subnet mask, gateway addresses.
- When choosing a dynamic IP address: Datamanager takes its address from the DHCP server automatically.
- Save the settings by pressing
2- Internet Via WLAN:
- After choosing this setting, press the Refresh button to search for available wireless networks, for hidden networks you can add them via path WLAN Settings -->Add WLAN.
- Choose the wireless network to which the Cerbo controller was previously connected.
- Save the settings by pressing
5) Return to connection mode by switching the IP Switch to position B.
Connection mode: The Connection between Victron Cerbo and Fronius Datamanager via internet Network.
4. Configuration the Fronius Inverter (Eco27 KVA).

2.1 Access Method:
o Connect your laptop to internet network (LAN or WiFi).
o Connects Cerbo GX internet network via a RJ45 CAT5 cable and open “VictronConnect”.

3. Configuration of the Cerbo Controller.
3.1 Adding Fronius to the GX Device
Before conducting this configuration, the Fronius inverter must be connected to the same internet network.
3.2 Monitoring Fronius on the GX Device
