i have a quattro with the Ess assistant and general flag assistants. i cant get it to charge on a cheaper rate on ac2 it prioritises ac1. Both lare on the same phase but from from two seperate meters
I’m thinking you might have to set up a NodeRED flow to do this… Bit confused on your meter set up, is out one of those old night storage setups?
similar sort of set up, technically its two grid supplies, i thought if i set one as generator it would be easier to control. I cant seem to get it to ignore AC1
I think its possible using VEConfig but its supposed to be fairly clunkey… but as always for all these bespoke situations your first port of call should be using NodeRED, have you got a CerboGX.
Dont worry about not being up to speed with NodeRED your friendly AI agent will programme it all for you if you ask it nicley ![]()
I cant tell you about how to do it using VEConfig assistants but I am 100% sure NodeRED can do it easliy with a small bit of programming. Once you start into NodeRED you will realise how powerful it is.
Will node red over ride all assistants ?
You need a smart switch and a contactor to disconnecr AC in 1 it is the priority connection and will always favor that over the AC2, so the only way to switch to ac2 in is to make sure ac 1 is not available (no voltage present) at the time of switching.
You can do this part in node red.
