8, 10 and 15k units in paralell and three phase

Please advise.
The documentation requires that 8,10,15k units of Multi II should use an external transfer switch in order for the 3 phase and parallel operation to be supported.
In my use case the units would only be used as chargers so the external transfer switch can’t be used.

In these cases, is it allowed for these units to be used in serial / parallel combined manner?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

The docs are fairly clear. They cannot be paralleled unless off-grid, powered (as requrired) by a gennie, with specific firmware and an external transfer switch.
If that doesn’t fit your requirements, ie you are on-grid, then it is unsupported.
There is no certification for this solution, so grid connections are not permitted.
That may change, but if/when/ever it happens is way beyond the community’s knowledge.

Are they so cheap that a dedicated charger (meanwell/TDK) solution is more expensive ?

Well, they are not necessarily cheap, however, I would need a low of MW chargers. Not only that but the whole integration like ATC, max charging current would make using MW not ideal

Wouldn’t you be better using the Quattro (up to 15kVA) or Quattro II (5kVA) which I believe is certified for this kind of application?

They are indeed, but only have a single relay, so if required to work as an ESS, an external contactor, like the Ziehl needs to be used.
