3-phase Quattro 48/8000 does not engage ac-1-in as "generator"

Hi,

I’m setting up a 3-phase system with 3x Quattro 48/8000 and pylontech batteries with MPPT’s only.
I’ve setup the CCGX so that the relay is used for generator start/stop. The CCGX relay then activates another relay that supplies each Quattro with 1-phase on AC-1-IN.
But …
When the CCGX activates the relay (based on SOC), the 230V appears on the VE-bus of each Quattro but these don’t start charging the batteries.

It worked for about a month or so without any problems but now all of a sudden it doesn’t anymore. I’ve reset the complete system blank as a 3-phase system but it just doesn’t work.

Then used assistants, identical in all 3 Quattro’s

  • generator general flag to ignore AC-IN
  • generator start/stop
    => use general flag
    => open relay to start
    => start when SOC < 10%
    => stop when SOC > 20%
    => generator not stopped by AC-IN

This does not work to start charging batteries either.

Anyone any idea what is happening or what could cause this problem?

Thks,
Jean-Paul

Would the batteries be charged if you started it manually … regardless of whether you use the assistant or not.
Do the Quattros accept the generator?

ONE phase for all three quattros ?

No, each quattro different phase.

Whatever % the batteries are on … it never starts charging.
There is no generator connected. I use the grid as a “generator”. When I activate the “generator” on the CCGX, the grid voltage appears on the AC-IN of all Quattros (VE bus indicates 230 Volt, 50 Hz) but the Quattro doesn’t start charging.

Was the original system setup in this “phase following” , or are two phases switched ?

The system is setup as:

Phase 1 of the grid to AC-IN of Quattro 1
Phase 2 of the grid to AC-IN of Quattro 2
Phase 3 of the grid to AC-IN of Quattro 3

It worked fine (through the CCGX) until a few days ago, nothing has changed but it suddenly doesn’t want to start charging anymore.

With the use of assistants it has never worked !!!
