3-Phase 63 A On-Grid Battery Backup (UPS) – MultiPlus II vs Quattro & Quattro II

Hello,

I need to power a 3-phase, 63 A per phase system on grid with battery backup, essentially functioning as a whole-building UPS. From what I understand, the MultiPlus II does not support 3-phase above 5 kVA. Could someone please confirm this?

It seems that my only option would be using three Quattro 48 V/8–10–15 kVA units with a Ziehl UFR1001E (as per this datasheet (https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Datasheet-ESS-application-Quattro-48V-8-10-15kVA-EN.pdf)). However, on the Victron website, Quattro II currently appears to be available only in a 5 kVA version.

  1. Is that correct—are larger Quattro II models not yet available?
  2. What are the advantages of Quattro II compared to the original Quattro series? Should I even bother?
  3. Are bigger Quattro II versions planned for release?

Thank you for any clarification!

Just check the spec sheets, all units iirc support 3-phase, they don’t all support parallel.
If certification is important, you can check which have certs via the downloads area on the main victron site, which has a cert section.
