2 x Multiplus2 systems working together ( ESS )?

question to the community ,

will this work?

situation, i have 2 independed systems , first i wanted to place them in serie ,but i did not find a good way to do that ( even with no grid selection and LOM disabled , feed-in is wierd )

so i thought an other way..( see picture )

above ( on picture )system is 3phase to a building , where there is one MP2 - 5K ( on L1 )
and down ( on picture ) system is a full 3phase system ( 3x MP2 - 8K )

should it be posible to load my house ( main ) battery with the feed in from my 1 phase system?

of does anyone knows the answer to my first thought ( MP2 in series )

Ah okay have make a mistake the problem ist that you can become what we called in germany schieflast.
Did you plan use dynamic ess or would you only more power for ev charging ? Ore more battery power

The problem is the stand alone device must know when the battery is empty from the other device but is stupid to convert pv to battery to 220v back to battery. Better ist the second device is an normal pv inverter and you charge the 3 phase system directly

When the problem is the 3 phase is to smal to charge all your pv power to the battery add the battery to the main system and add a charger or use the 3000 only in charger mode but thr multi uses for this to much selfconsumption

Its more like 2 stand alone systems BUT ( controled via node-red) , the upper ( on picture) system will be feeding in DC couple (max 4000w), when his battery is full.

So when my main system ( lower on picture) his battery is not full yet.. it would also take ( if posible) what my upper system is feeding into the grid ( i know its a loss in DC to AC and back AC to DC , but its cheaper that way )

So when i setup main system ( with the victron blue grid meter) to get loads to 0 to grid …
When he will see feed in from the upper system , will he use it to charge battery and make the grid “0” again ? Or will he inject on L2 2000w and L3 2000w … to make it “0”?
So no use to battery charge ?

My main goal was to place my upper system in serie to my main system .. still try to do that .. but as i said , wierd things happen.

Create Virtual grind meter (dbus mqtt see below) on booth systems then feed the inverters via node red with the datas so you can control the load on the two systems.

This must work

When battery on (backup system is full) send the power you want to charge the main via dbusmqtt as consumtion voila the main system will see more power and load the battery. And you can do this in two ways
So you can manipulate the system but the problem is your charts will be wrong
Or use the backup only with dbusmqtt.

Better ideas only when i know your complete hardware

So you can not install 2 ESS systems in serie nore like in picture above ..

Yes thats the only way you can merge two systems

First i need to place new( extra) cable from house to outhouse. just for the input of the 5K inverter , so the rest will stay on main battery …

Hope to see the victron meter on the main do the job … if he will see L1 = 3000w inject , he will take 1500w from L2 and L3 to load battery ( since it will try to remain 0w on input ) …

If not .. node red will indeed be handy :face_with_peeking_eye:
