I have 3 solar panels 400w 35 v. So far I’ve only connected 2 in series to the smart solar 100-30. The peak voltage is 71.5 volts. Could connect all 3 panels in series to the smart solar (even though the peak voltage could be 107v) or will that damage the smart solar?
That will potentially damage the controller, definitely void its warranty, and potentially cause damage to surrounding components. The 100v input limit is a hard limit, there must be no exceeding of it under any circumstance.
