~1600VA 120VAC Inverter-Charger

So I’m looking if there’s a ~1600VA 120VAC inverter-charger? I can’t seem to find one. The Multiplus 1600VA is 230v, not 120v, although the 1200VA version does have a 120VAC. Has Victron made, in one of the other multitude of various products, made a 120VAC version that’s approximately 1600VA inverter-charger?

The 1200VA probably will be sufficient, but there might be times where I’ll want a few hundred more watts continuous.

Then it would be better to look for the 12v 2000VA 120v. It is more readily available.

It will allow for heat derating as well.

Or maybe something from the Q1 price list.

Summary

So…that’s double, or more, than the 1200/50/12, although it is unusually inexpensive right now on Amazon. It just seems weird that for the exact same model line (MultiPlus), all except the highest powered version has both 120VAC and 230VAC. I just frustrated is all, although I know Victron as a company doesn’t owe me anything, but it’s very annoying that I either need to spend a LOT more money to get something quite a bit more than what I actually will need, or I have to settle for something where I won’t have much leeway, or not quite enough, for “just in case” usage that I’d like to have.

Is there any reason you are limited to 12V? The 24v and 48v models are always cheaper.

I was thinking something similar. Config can affect price quite a bit.

I’m in a small trailer, only have room for 1 12v battery, and all my lighting/etc is 12v.

If you only have a small battery a 1200 multi will drain it pretty quickly if it’s only 100ah for example. If you want to run a 2000 multi at the peak you will need a battery with a 300amp BMS for lithium.

Have you looked at the mini lithium? Can you fit 2 of these for a 24V? Its pretty common to run a 24v or 48v system and use a converter for 12v loads if needed.

Victron is a european company so they are focusing on the european market with 230V.
The demand for 120V devices is smaller and therefore they don’t produce everything for 120V.
