As you can see the display isn’t working.
The unit is working just fine.
The only support option that the Victron dealer has, is returning the unit at my own cost for repair by Victron. So far for the good support.
But maybe there is a Victron engineer reading this who can help me out, so I can fix this myself (or not).

The ribbon cable is OK, but was probably mounted incorrectly.
Not that we use the display much, but it’s always nice when a new device just works the way it’s supposed to when it comes out of the box.
It does make you think whether buying a device like this on the Internet is such a good idea, given the total lack of support from the seller.
What if something really does break down?
Now that I have looked at the Victron inside, I am struck by how well built this unit is, as well as easy to work on.
