150/35 MPPT controller not charging

Hi All!
As the title suggests, my 150/35 MPPT Charge Controller is not charging, well it only charges intermittently. It is networked into a Cerbo GX and alongside a 150/70 MPPT Charge Controller (no problems out of the bigger charger).

At times, the 150/35 works for a couple weeks and then stops charging my batteries, but stays on. I’ve tried troubling shooting, but I can’t find any solutions that work.

At first to get it back working correctly, I would turn off my whole system for a few minutes and then reboot it. Once the Cerbo powered up, it showed everything working as it’s supposed to. And then weeks later, it goes back to not charging. More recently, I bought a switch and isolated the 150/35 cutting off power to it. Once I rebooted this charger, nothing. It still wouldn’t charge. I then repeated this process and also unplugged my Cerbo (other parts of the system were untouched). I plugged my Cerbo back in and then my 150/35, and after a few minutes everything works as it should.

Any ideas to why the 150/35 won’t work unless I give it (and the Cerbo) a hard reset? Software is up to date.

Thanks in Advance!

How did you connected the mppt to the cerbo

Bluetooth ?

Usb ?
Check the usb cable did you use an usb hub ?
Ist the hub passiv or activ ?

Have you grounded the mppt ?

I connect to the Cerbo GX using my iPhone via Bluetooth. The MPPT is connected to the Cerbo by USB cable.

My 2 x Victron Quattros, 150/70 MPPT, 150/35 MPPT, and a Touchscreen are also plugged into the Cerbo.

My idea is that you have an emf problem un the usb cables did you use orginal cables .

Try to earth the mppt cooling plate when is not .

I forgot to mention that both controllers are grounded. And yes, original USB cables for both.

Firmware on newest version ?

why use a USB cable on the cerbo, when there are VE-direct sockets on the cerbo?

Could a usb or a VE direct socket be why this is happening to my MPPT? Or would the VE correct it?
