I am the administrator of seven Victron ESS systems. In four of them, the MPPT 150/35 and 150/45 have been exhibiting strange behavior for several days. They simply did not start charging the next morning, even though there was enough sun and the battery voltage was low enough for bulk charging. In one system, for example, there is a 150/35 and a 150/45. The 150/35 is working normally, but the 150/45 did not start in the morning. I then updated both to software 1.67. This worked for a few days, but now the 150/45 is not working again. In another system, a 150/35 simply stopped charging this morning. It runs on software 1.64.
Short background information of all the systems:
3x MPII 48/5000
Seplos BMS
PV inverter on the AC OUT
Cerbo GX installed
Controller connected with VE.direct.
DVCC activated – max. charging voltage 55.20 V
Is there currently a general problem with the controller software? I don’t believe there is a hardware problem because all of them started having problems at around the same time. It all started somehow since the blue error message from Victron about problems in the data back end appeared in the VRM beginning August.
Does anyone here have any ideas or a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Tom
