MPPT 100/50 Sometimes won't start charging in the morning gönderisinden tartışılmaya devam ediliyor:
Tell us more about your system. What are the solar charge controllers communicating with and how? Firmware up to date?
100/50 mppt connected to 550W solar panel, connected to CerboGx with veconnect.100/30 mppt connected to 450W panel, both and all other mppt’s are in the latest version, as in the attached pictures.
When I check from Vrm, the mppt’s I mentioned are zero watts, if the others show values, they start to show values when I enter Victron Connect and turn off the mppt first and then turn it on. If I do not do this process, they do not produce all day, I expect those concerned to find a solution to this.
I am waiting for your solutions and suggestions
I asked you what you want to learn, your suggestions?
With the battery state of charge at 54% the solar charge controllers should be running as hard as possible to charge the battery. All the solar charge controllers have PV voltage +5 volts over the system voltage so they’ve reached that threshold for charging.
You said the solar charge controllers are connected to the Cerbo GX with “veconnect”. Did you mean VE.Direct? There aren’t three VE.Direct ports on the Cerbo GX as I recall. Are you using an addon device that allows more VE.Direct connections?
I can’t tell if you have the solar charge controllers in a Victron Smart Network or not. If so, remove them from the network. Communications are either with the Smart Network or VE.Direct, not both.
Take a screenshot of the Battery parameters for one of the solar charge controllers.
Dear EGAN , It is connected to 3 USB ports on the cerbo gx via Mppt charge controller and direct connection.Only 3 conrollers are connected to the third USB port on the USB hub. Also all controls are defined as battery parameters and lifepo4.Also all devices work together on the same blueooth smart network in the Victron Connect application.Your desired battery
parameters are in the attached picture. I thank you in advance for your attention.
If the solar controllers are connected to a Smart Network AND a Cerbo GX at the same time you can get erratic results. Remove them all from tje Smart network and see if this improves the performance.
It looks like the parameters on the solar charge controller are the defaults used by Victron. Those are fine. It’s the VE.SmartNetwork. Disable that.
From the Victron VE.Smart Networking document:
VE.Smart Networking is designed for small systems that do not have a GX device - such as a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX - to control the chargers (e.g. in an ESS system); see FAQ Q5. In systems in which the GX device is used for logging purposes only, VE.Smart Networking can be used to allow chargers to synchronise, or even receive information from sensors. Keep in mind that if, for some reason, the same information (i.e. voltage sense) is being received by the charger over BLE and VE.Can/VE.Direct, the information coming over BLE (through VE.Smart Networking) will be ignored.
Dear EGAN ,Thank you very much for your advice on the Victron Connect application.I canceled the Bluetooth smart network I created. Now only the network on the cerbo gx with Ve-direct works.I guess I will not have any problems after that.
