I have a 3 phase mp2-48-5000 system with et340 grid meter.
The grid meter is directly after the 3x25A main fuses of the house.
Because of the excessive loads during car charging, heatpump, washer, dryer etc i have installed the victron system for peak shaving / power assist.
What i don’t understand is who is monitoring this 25A for not going to be exceeded? Is it the et340 grid meter or is it the mp2?
The system is configured as “total of all phase” but i hope this is not valid for the 25A setting?
The ET340 is transmitting the current and voltage of the 3 separate fases to vrm but when i switch from grid meter to inverter for doing the measurement this will stay the same.
I can understand why my car drains the battery if connected to ac-out2 and it don’t when connected to the ac-in side
i don’t understand why the mp2 is not compensating for the grid load with the car connected to ac-in side… The grid meter is going far over the 25A load (tried for more than a minute, as long as i had the guts) without compensating by the mp2.
Are you refering to the “Multiphase Regulation” Setting here? If yes, this has nothing to to with the ac-limit. It just changes what the multi will consider a"0" at the grid point. In Individual Phasemode, it has to be 0/0/0, in Sum-Mode, -200/100/100 is also “0”.
You can enable or disable if the MPs will provide battery power to ac in. under Settings → ESS → Self consumption from battery, you can choose “Critical loads only” (:= acout) or “All System Loads” (:= acin + acout)
