Which batt to connect T & V sensors to with batts in parallel? Multiplus ll, SmartShunt, & CerboGX

I have the Multiplus ll 12/3000/120/50 2x120, Lynx Distributor, SmartShunt 500a/50mV, and the Cerbo GX connected to 3 x 280Ah batteries in parallel. The battery company recommends each battery be connected to a common bus bar with the bus connected to the lynx. Batteries are fused with a terminal fuse on each, an in-line fuse to the Batt Disconnect Switch and then to the Lynx..

  1. Which battery should I use for the voltage and temp sensors for the Multiplus and/or SmartShunt?

  2. Should I use both the Multiplus AND SmartShunt sensors? And connect to two different batteries for better monitoring.

  3. How will this impact the Cerbo reading/display?

I am thinking of using both sets of sensors on separate batteries. The Victron App will show me the Mutliplus information and the Shunt information and I will be able to see any V/T difference. Both the Multiplus and the Shunt will feed the Cerbo but, which T/V sensor will it display/use?

Use a Lynx power in to connect the batteries to.
Temperature sensor MUST be connected to the negative of the center battery - in the physical layout - it will run warmest. Temp sensors are supposed to be isolated, but I had one that was not, it cost me a control board.
V sense can come off the power in.
Yes you can use both sensors, but the system will work with data from just one. Better to use the smart shunt sensor.
The Cerbo will give you the option of which sensor to use under the system setup.

Many THANKS.
