What about precision between SmartShunt 500A and 300A

Victron offers two types shunts in the range up to 500A. I’m just wondering if my max. current will be below 300A and I am using a 300A shunt the results must be more precise. Both shunts provide 50mV at maximum specified current and if both use the same electronics the 300A version should give better resolution.

In the data sheet shows equal values for both types. Does anyone have more information or has made some comparisions?

theoretically resolution should be improved by a factor of 5/3. However, in normal use, you are unlikely to notice this.
