VRM watch apps just got an update

Hi all,

Since we launched the VRM app for watches end of last year, many of your requested even more of VRM to be possible from your watch.

I am happy to announce that we just launched an update of the VRM app, to add these functionalities to your smart watch on IOS, Android or Garmin:

  • VRM data on your watch face
  • Tank levels
  • Relay controls
  • Generator controls

Have fun trying out these new features, and let me know if you have any more requests.

You can download the latest version of the app through one of the links below:

Next up on our roadmap is to allow for VRM information on the lock screen of your smartphone, which will follow soon!

I noticed that the tank levels (in my case 2 mopeka LPG sensors) always show 0% on the apple watch app. VRM & Cerbo shows the correct values.

Is this a known bug?

Hi @blieve , what is your VRM installation ID? I can see if I can reproduce the bug.

Hi @Barbara ,

The ID is 414070. Maybe good to mention, I’m on the 3.0.0 (251) version that I installed via testflight

It’s brilliant - many thanks…

Request: Move Gen Start/Stop to the last screen as it’s an intervention (the others are information focused).

I have the same issue and I am also running the TestFlight version of the app.

Here the iOS Version.
Official latest release 3.0.0

Widget environment:
Temps show: NaN

Temp in VRM app: correct

Any chance you will have Apple watch complications in the future?

We do in this version if I am not mistaken!

Hey @Sammerdan , last week before the upgrade to the apps, we did an generic update to the backend of VRM. I think your widgets turning NaN have something to do with that.

I will check with the team what could’ve happened and will let you know as soon as we find out. Thank you for signaling this!

Yes I found the watch complications. They work great! Thanks. BTW my tanks all read zero on the watch as well. The tanks are on VE.can with a NMEA2K can adapter, maybe that makes a difference?

Hi @bobbiemartin, great, happy you found them!

The fix for the tanks is in review with Apple, so should be there soon!

Is there a way for the Apple watch complications to report in real time? Currently you have to click on them and then reload to update the information.

Got it this morning, and it is indeed fixed now!

Thanx for the quick fix!

They should reload every 10 minutes, unfortunately Apple does not allow for more frequent reloads of complexities unless you are a health or workout app :frowning:

Thanks, I appreciate all the work you guys do.

Hola he actualizado la version del reloj y ahora me pide que me conecte con login a la app del movil. Me desconecto y me vuelvo a conectar. Y de ahi no pasa.

Hola!
