My solar forecast has been missing for the past couple of weeks. I have already set my address again and reset the forecast, but both the forecast and the solar irradiance data are still empty.
Are there more people experiencing this problem? My version is v3.73.
It should work. Asked the team to take a look at why it isn’t working (please do confirm that your system has the number 876216 in the vrm url to make sure we are looking at the right system).
I heb 2 systems on my account and both are missing pv forcast. i connect my growatt inverter with a virual pv node.
this works fine for a couple of weeks and now its gone.
i give it a reboot 4 day left, stil nothing. firmware version is V3.73
Just to make sure that we are looking at the right thing here. The system 876216 doesn’t look like it ever reported solar yield.
Looking a bit closer at that site. The site isn’t reporting the Ac/Energy/Forward field of the PV inverter as you never fill it out via Node-RED. Which results in the system not counting produced solar energy and concluding that your site doesn’t produce solar.
If it didn’t register production in the past, the forecast will be zero too.
We used to report solar irradiance regardless only based on a filled out location. But as there is not much point of forecasting for a site that doesn’t report solar yield, we added a that secondary condition.
So if you update the flow to also report yield, it will start forecasting again. And you’ll also have more interesting historical data.
should be able to add a node red energy counter i have done with with a flow to make virtual ev charger.
on my setup it is also no longer working
I have to confess, PV was only faked on DBUS (Hoymiles + OpenDTU)
It worked like a charme last 2 years
Strange thing: a colleague also only has OpenDTU - there it still works

Has anyone watched their solar wattage being reduced when solar forecasting is enabled? I have 600 watts and it gets reduced to under 400 when my battery bank is down to 50%. When I re set solar forecasting it will ramp up to over 500 watts. Any ideas??
Thanks for this dis-service. What does the sun has to do with any of the systems ? So I am not entitled to get the radiance forcecast because my system is not wired the way you think it should be or I did not buy the components you liked. Weird logic. I thought that the sun is shining for everybody the same way. But apparently not.
