VRM showing all "live" data but all graphs just say "loading"

This issue has just happened today:

I have two installations monitored on VRM, my own ESS system and a customer’s off grid system, as of this morning everything was normal but when I checked this afternoon the customers site was displaying all data as expected, live data, graphs and advanced graphs:

But on the same browser tab my installation is showing realtime live data fine but there is no data graphing or logging showing, any attempt to access the event or alarm logs just shows “loading” and the advanced graphs are all blank:

The Ekrano remote console is fully accessible over the LAN (wired connection) and is not showing any error in VRM connection:

There are no other errors or notifications on the Ekrano of any loss of connection and the internet here is 100Mbps fibre and working fine

I have rebooted my PC and browser, rebooted the Ekrano and verified the network connection

Any ideas? are there any ongoing issues with the VRM currently?

This has persisted for around an hour now and I have no idea what might be causing the problem

Thanks

Nick

There have been VRM database issues lately, maybe they are back

Thanks @chrigu That certainly seems the most likely explanation I will keep an eye on things and report back!

I seem to have the same issue with 3 installations. No changes in either of them, yesterday all was fine and since this afternoon the graphs will not load.

Other displayed data seems in order.

I suppose it’s a glitch on Victron’s side.

@michiel.verbrugge I am glad to know its not just me! The problem is persisting this morning with the off grid system still showing a full set of graphs etc. and no data from the ESS system other than the “live” data which seems to be fine

Are the systems you have seen this issue with ESS as well?

Same here, graphs not loading since about a day ago. Neither dashboard or advanced view.

Interesting is the pie graphs on dashboard does load.

Yes I noticed the pie charts were there on solar and consumption views too, I should have mentioned that.

It definitely looks as if its a server side issue at Victron rather than an individual installation, lets hope it is fixed soon.

Thanks for your reports.
I also noticed that on one of our systems and reported it to the VRM team, they are taking a look at it.

Exactly the same problem here. Location the Netherlands.

I have two installations. The Multiplus GX @home works like a charm, but the Cerbo on my boat is only showing current data. No charts.

Hi all,

This is fixed. We were working on fixing issues with timezones, but that introduced more issues than it solved.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

With kind regards,

Jarco

I’m still “offline” it’s just a nuisance and not a real problem. I know this system is not made locally but I would love to have a local server solution as a backup. Maybe offloading some services or response times on victron end. I know for a couple of systems it doesn’t take much more than a Rpie or something similar (I got lazy and O have a cerbo) but for worldwide users those servers can get hammered on requests for graphs…

As of just now my issues have resolved, I see all graphs and fast.

I’m sure there was some issue at the backbone because all three work fine again and I did not change anything.

Mine are back too, and I was able to use the data to examine the issue in my other post about the strange ESS behaviour!

No problem Jarco I’m happy it is working again.

Still it would be really professional to have a service board available where all current and future operational issues can be found.

It would show that you guys are very much in control of what is happening and your audience/customers would see what to expect.

Hi @michiel.verbrugge ,

We’ll look at the suggestion, thank you!

With kind regards,

Jarco
