How to keep backup batteries SOC during scheduled EV charging in the Dynamic ESS mode?
For example - I would like to charge my EV during low cost period at night 2 hours without switched off Dynamic ESS. Unfortunately the Dynamic ESS mode primary use for EV backup batteries energy ignoring Scheduled Charging Levels in the ESS settings and only then use grid if batteries reached Minimum SOC at EES settings, but my objective is to keep batteries energy during charging EV from grid only. It is possible without activating Dynamics ESS, but Dynamic ESS is very effective for rest of time.
Currently that is not possible, but it is scheduled. At this point of time, even Regular ESS would discharge your battery2ev.
The physical option would be to connect your evcs to ACIN and set the system to “only support loads on acout” with battery power. (You can then enable to support loads on acin, when you want battery2ev)
If you are a bit techie, you could use node red to raise the min soc while the ev is charging, or manipulate the grid setpoint to match the evs consumption during these times.
Thank you for prompt information. Good to know that it is in schedule and during waiting syst. updates I will use your suggestion to rise min soc. Its work and already tested but not so convenient without scheduled option. Please let me know approximately when this feature could be implemented in the Dynamic ESS as well?
