VRM /network problems after update 3.5 -> 3.60 Raspi

Hi

Up to Venus OS 3.55 I had connected the VM-3P75CT with static IP via patch cable to the Ethernet port and VRM and Co via WLAN, which was a great solution because I don’t have a switch on the control cabinet

With the update to 3.60, the following problem occurred:

Venus OS could no longer resolve the DNS name of the VRM server and therefore could not establish a connection. Despite all my tests, I could not get the old configuration to work again. I had to choose between WLAN or wired Ethernet, neither of which worked anymore

To get the ESS system up and running again, I helped myself with a second Can-Bus adapter for the VM-3P75CT and left the Ethernet port unused.

Have there been any changes in this respect in 3.60?

Works again :wink:

GX devices can be simultaneously connected to the Internet on the WiFi interface and to a wired network on the Ethernet interface.

This is achieved by setting the gateway address on the Ethernet interface to 0.0.0.0
