Greetings to all VictronEnergy fanatics. My name is Dominik and we run yacht and camper business based with victron components in Costa del Sol Spain. We found all products customers and installers friendly. However here comes the time when things get complicated and need a community brain🙏🏽
We try to help Dutch customer with unic setup it’s land rover defender from 80s where owner bravely decided to camperize it and Install lithium battery from victron energy. Onboard components: multiplus 1200/70/16, mppt 100/30, Orión 30 A, lithium battery 200 ah with ve bus bms. Brave owner build it all himself forgetting/ not knowing to install releys for charge and discharge to limits control of the battery. Land rover drove all the way from Holland to Spain(2.5tkm) without protection. At site we recovered battery from 2v and it balanced to its normal values. We have installed releys Li-ct and liLoad to protect the battery. Unfortunately releys are not getting triggered and situation repites. Therefore comes the question considering all is properly installed what could cause lack of communication to releys? I will be grateful for ideas, help, constructive information exchange🙏🏽
