I have install the virtual EV and EVCS in node red and have them both showing in node red with correct values however unlike battery charging with is separated from the AC load the EV charging is been recorded as both EV charging and AC load so on the graphs you can see matching spikes for AC and ev. The bars on the consumption data are also double stacked even though the ac load is the EV charger.
All consumption to the house comes through the multipus CT. There is nothing in the virtual EVCS or the device list to enable you to state if this is on AC input/AC output like my PV inverter. If it can separate the battery charging why can it not separate the ev charging?
The naming is quite equal, but need to distinguish two things:
In the dashboard view, having the EVCS beeing included in the box Ac Loads (note the s) is normal. This value is the sum of ALL AC Loads in the system, including the EV. Ac Loads here is meant as a general Term for “Ac Consuming things”.
In the System graph bellow you see a drilldown into base consumption, evcharger and acloads. But here, the ACLoads refers to the “sum of every com.victronenergy.acload” service only.
So, that could only mean 1 thing:
you have a meter to measure your 3rd party evcs and that is included as an acload role?
you have created a virtual ev charger in Nodered, utilizing this meters value and therefore appearing like a second entity with equal consumption.
The easiest solution would be: Get rid of the virtual EVCS and change the meters role from acload to evcharger directly. It then will have the same appearence on the dashboard, without double counting.
As far as i can see “Get rid of the virtual EVCS and change the meters role from acload to evcharger directly” has been removed in V3.80 and replaced with the virtual EVCS is that correct as happy to move to this if it is still available?

Saw that V3.81 had been released and updated wanting to see the new version of the node red victron nodes with hopefully the fix for but unfortunately they have not made it. The wait goes on
