  • Android: If you can’t open the downloaded file from the downloads list try using a file browser.

Changes

  • Add Korean translation

Energy Meter:

  • Add firmware v1.08:
    • Hide L2-L3 line voltage in split phase configuration
      • This was introduced in v1.07, which was only in VictronConnect beta.
    • Improve VE.Can communication; this fixes the missing custom name

Solar Chargers:

  • Fix the issue where “Load output configuration” is not available as an RX port mode setting on certain models where it should be.

v6.10beta11

2024-08-30

Changes

  • Restore the “VictronConnect” name on the splash screens

Orion XS:

  • Add firmware v1.05 update (mandatory)
    • Improve non-volatile memory management by fixing a bug that could cause memory corruption when flashing the history or settings data. This is yet another improvement on top of what was done previously on v1.04.
    • Fix operation time count when Orion XS is not charging (Off state)

Energy Meter:

  • Fix phase configuration setting (issue introduced in beta10)
  • Energy counters renaming/rewording

EVCS:

  • Network settings rewording
  • Add new settings

GlobalLink:

  • Add support for new model

MultiHS

  • Add ESS Settings (now similar to the InverterRS family)
  • Removed the solar data section

VE.Bus Inverter/Charger:

  • Fix System configuration does not show Phase selection buttons

Solar Chargers:

  • Improve behaviour when scrolling solar history graphs.

v6.10beta10

2024-08-09

Changes

Android: Fix firmware and settings files are not added to the library when opening from a file manager while VictronConnect is not already running

GX products:

  • Better handle local MQTT connection for Venus versions supportin secured profiles

Energy Meter:

  • Add firmware v1.07:
    • Add line-to-line voltages
    • Add neutral current
    • Add split phase support (L1/L2)
    • Add energy registration method
      • Users can choose between vector (default), arithmetic and absolute
    • Add roles for EV charger, heat pump, water pump and water heater
    • Fix missing messages/responses in VE.Can communication
    • Fix Ethernet state being invalid in VictronConnect

Below changes are already included in v6.08

Lynx SmartBMS:

  • Add firmware v1.11
    • Fix bug that prevented the device from automatically switching on after a low cell voltage. The Lynx BMS now switches on again when a charge voltage is detected on the system side. This bug was only in the NG versions.
    • Add support for the “Pending” state in parallel mode that indicates on the GX that the BMS is waiting until the battery voltage is within a safe range to connect to the operational battery bank. The voltage displayed indicates the voltage at which it will connect.
    • v1.10:
      • Support for parallel BMS systems, which adds redundancy to a system. Detect other BMSs & optimize behavior for that case - implemented such that in case of no functional CAN-bus communication between the BMSs everything also works. No user setting is required for parallel support. Use in combination with Venus OS v3.40 or later, since that includes the new feature about combining the data into one total “virtual” bank + use that for DVCC. Paralleling is only possible for models with the same current rating. Combining Smart Lithium BMSs and Lithium-NG BMSs is allowed.
      • Add 3 seconds delay to start-up procedure, for all system types, to detect parallel BMSs.
      • Peukert adjusted to 1.02 and charge-efficiency to 99.5% for more accurate SoC calculation.

VE.Bus Inverter/Chargers:

  • VE.Bus firmware update: Fix error 123 when updating MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 (already included in v6.08)
  • Add firmware v552

v6.10beta9

2024-08-02

Changes

GX products:

  • Fix connection to local MQTT via when Venus “Unsecured” profile is selected

Orion XS:

  • Fix Orion XS page does not open when selecting it on the devices list. This bug also affects the demo product.

Energy Meter:

  • On remote connections, improve handling when the number of phases is changed.

v6.10beta8

2024-08-01

Changes

  • Improve the layout of the main settings page

  • Various fixes and improvements

GX products:

  • Fix connection to local MQTT via WebSocket Secure is broken

  • Fix live data values of products freeze after 30 seconds when connected via local MQTT

Orion XS:

  • Add firmware v1.04:

    • Bug fixes

      • Start displaying warning #67 BMS Connection lost. Previous fw version (v1.03) was not displaying the warning, even though the warning was internally activated. While active, the charger will be kept at “Float” state, with a fix 12V output voltage setpoint.

      • Improve non-volatile memory management by fixing a bug that could potentially cause memory corruption when flashing the history or settings data.

    • Improvements

      • Remove auto equalisation support. On previous FW versions, when equalisation was enabled, the charger would perform equalisation every charge cycle, which is not healthy for the battery. Now only the manual equalisation is supported.

      • Allow VE.Smart Networking to be configured over VE.Direct.

  • Add error #67

MPPT Solar Chargers:

  • Make firmware v1.64 mandatory for the following models

    • SmartSolar Charger MPPT 75/10 (A074)
    • SmartSolar Charger MPPT 75/15 (A075)
    • BlueSolar Charger MPPT 75/10 (A07C)
    • BlueSolar Charger MPPT 75/15 (A07D)
  • Add firmware v1.65 for SmartSolar 100/30-12V (A07E)

    • Extend internal improvements made on v1.64 for all SmartSolar 100/30-12V models.
  • Add firmware v3.16:

    • Fix bug on synchronize charging over CAN when two or more MPPTs are connected. This could potentially cause the charger to jump absorption every day.

Energy Meter:

  • On remote connections, improve handling when the meter role is changed.

BMV-712 & SmartShunt:

  • On remote connections, improve handling when the monitor mode or DC meter type is changed.
